CELEBRITY FATHERS: Wyclef Jean’s message to his haters is he loves being a dad more than being a celebrity

Wyclef with daughter(www.BlacksinHollywood.com) – You can call him a lot of things, but the only title that really matters to three-time winning Grammy Award performer #WycelfJean is “good father.”

Mere hours after the internet exploded with buzz after he hosted a poorly received “Reddit AMA” drama that caused him to delete his Reddit account, Wyclef Jeanelle Jean and his beautiful daughter caught up with a new DC Livers & Associates client at a recent toy conference.

You’ll never guess what he had to say in this super exclusive, very candid video.

Wyclef shows his heart, soul and what really matters while defying the negative stereotype that Black fathers are dead beat parents. The Haitian rapper/musician/actor best known to fans as Wyclef Jean (pronounced John), first moved to the U.S. at the age of nine. He and his family have spent much of his life in America but he’s very passionate about his homeland.

Of course, to Jean, ‘ask me anything’ did not require he respond to any hostile questions—particularly regarding his charity, Yele Haiti, from which Jean and his famous acquaintances reportedly mismanaged approximately $16 million following the 2010 earthquake that devastated Port-au-Prince.

Yele effectively closed its doors in 2012 under threat of prosecution, but has since been sued by a private hospitality firm HVS Global Hospitality Services for $108,972 in unpaid fees, but Jean insists it’s all just a misunderstanding.
